Evansville, Indiana – 10/23/2024 –Monte Skelton, the critically acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator is thrilled to announce the release of his latest studio album, “Monte Skelton: A Re-Introduction,” available everywhere on November 9th, 2024. This marks Monte Skelton’s 6th album and showcases a captivating evolution in their music style, blending jazz, rock, funk, classical, and ethnic influences with deeply personal lyrics and innovative soundscapes.
Following the success of previous albums “My World” and “2020: Volumes 1 and 2” which led into Monte being chosen as Evansville’s ‘Best Local Musician,’ “A Re-Introduction” is set to captivate audiences with its unique sound and profound storytelling. The album features 8 tracks, including the very innovative track “My Awakening,” and the positive and uplifting track “Better Together,” which is sure to be a catchy hit.

The album features collaborations with renowned musical artist and guitarist Theo Akai, as well as the vocal talents of Katherine Beyers. This album is unique in that nearly every instrument (which is over 20) featured in this album was recorded by Monte Skelton himself, demonstrating his technical abilities from many different perspectives of music and sound.

In support of the new album, Monte Skelton will have a very special album release performance at the Moore Guitars venue the day of release, November 9th at 5pm. This performance will feature a live band, special merchandise, and a question and answer portion after the show.
